Coston Consulting's Challenge

Angelica Crisi, partner at Coston Consulting, had developed a comprehensive curriculum for junior lawyers with her partners at Coston Consulting. They had the curriculum, but didn’t know how to translate that into an online course that would be effective for learning.

Most of what they had seen was long, talking head, video courses. They wanted something interactive that people would be more engaged with. They needed help from a professional instructional designer who could look at their content and help them figure out how to segment it and make it more interactive.

Our Solution for the Course

The team at The URL dr took the video content and written curriculum provided by Coston Consulting and transformed it into a highly engaging and interactive course that spoke the language of their audience. We edited the raw video footage to highlight each of the partners, as the subject matter experts, and added graphic highlights and animations to keep the video interesting.

The courses were designed in Articulate Rise and featured interactive elements that increased the engagement of the learners. A brand and color scheme to match the company’s website was used. The URL dr video team also created a series of promotional videos to advertise the course (see the videos below).

Our Solution for the LMS System

Once the courses were completed, Coston needed a learning management system (LMS) that would serve as the hosting platform for learners to take the courses. The URL dr designed a LearnWorlds site that became costonelevate.com.

The LMS site was designed to match Coston Consulting’s main website to make the learner experience seamless. The e-commerce capabilities allowed the company to sell courses directly on the LMS. They also chose an app feature that allowed their courses to be taken within their own app.
